Memorial Pedestals

Located in the center of the Memorial Court Yard between four metal benches are

5 Granite Pedestals. Each one represents a major conflict that America has been involved in:

World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, and Iraq-Afghanistan War.

Atop each pedestal is a granite plate with the names of local service members from the

Stanwood-Camano Island Area who lost their lives while fighting in that conflict.

The geographic boundary lines for the Stanwood-Camano Island Area are the

same boundary lines used by the Stanwood School District.
